Best Bagel was founded by Raymond Germanos, who brought his passion for food—and a lifetime of experience—to the Seacoast. Born in Lebanon, Ray began cooking professionally at 21 and even served as a personal chef to King Hussein of Jordan. His culinary roots are reflected in every bite.
We started in Seabrook, NH, and have since expanded to Newburyport, MA, where we offer not only hand-rolled, boiled, and baked bagels, but also authentic Middle Eastern dishes like beef and chicken shawarma wraps. Ray’s Lebanese heritage adds bold flavor and tradition to the menu.
And for something different, try one of our specialty drinks—favorites like Almond Joy, Nutella, and Snickerdoodle, served hot or iced.
